Website technical notes and help This site has been designed for version 4 browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator / Communicator). It may not display properly on version 3 browsers. Please note that the site is designed to be viewed at a monitor resolution of 1024 X 768--if your monitor is set to a lower resolution, additional scrolling may be necessary. This may be lessened by setting your browser to display text at a smaller size. If you are experiencing a problem with the structure of this website, such as broken links, images that won't load, etc., please send an e-mail and we'll fix the site as soon as possible. If you are experiencing a problem with the Acrobat (.pdf) downloadable catalog files on this site, please read this section. Because of the large number of variables on the user's computer which may affect Acrobat's performance, we may not be able to offer a fix for your specific problem on this page. However, we will provide whatever information we can to assist you in configuring your system for optimum performance with Acrobat files, and links to other resources. If you are using a Windows computer, be sure to initiate printing from within the Acrobat or Acrobat Reader application, not from the browser. The Acrobat (.pdf) files on the AEP website are compatible with Acrobat reader versions 3 or 4, and are optimized for printing on a 300 DPI laser printer or inkjet printer with at least 300 DPI resolution. They have been tested on both Macintosh and Windows platforms, and with Netscape and Microsoft web browsers. If you are using a version of Acrobat Reader prior to 3.0, you can download the newest version free from Adobe. Older versions of browser software may also work poorly (or not at all) when viewing or downloading Acrobat documents. We recommend that you upgrade to the latest version if you are currently using Netscape or Microsoft browser software prior to version 4.0. The latest browsers may be downloaded free from Netscape or Microsoft. For technical support with Acrobat, including information
on configuring your browser to either open Acrobat files onscreen or download
them for local printing, we suggest using the resources on Adobe's website,
particularly the "top issues" information that can be found
at: Another excellent source for Acrobat information, particularly for advanced users, is: http://www.pdfzone.com If you cannot find the answer to your problems at these sites, please send an e-mail with specific details (including your computer / OS / printer configuration) and we'll try to help you. |
